Dana Pray

Dana has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She brings 15 years of experience in mining industry accounting, 15+ years in leadership roles for a staffing firm as well as one of the largest gold producers in the world where she was responsible for leading approximately 1500 c-suite, technical professional, and skilled trades hires per year. Dana co-founded P&C Recruiting and HR with Rhonda Zuraff in 2017.
Dana is involved in several state mining trade associations as well as the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and is a certified trainer for DISC personality and behavior assessing. Dana enjoys spending time with family as well as beach vacations. One of her passions is the ‘Pray for Life Foundation' which was developed in memory of her son, Jeston Pray, supporting various aspects of organ transplantation. Rhonda Zuraff, SHRM-SCP

Rhonda has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in Human Resources Management and has completed graduate-level studies in Human Resource Management. She brings over 20 years of experience in operational leadership roles for two public companies within the media and mining industries. Rhonda co-founded P&C Recruiting and HR with Dana Pray in 2017.
She serves on the University of Utah Mining Engineering Advisory Board and is involved in several ‘state’ mining trade associations as well as the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration and NAATBatt (which is focused on the emerging sector of advanced battery technology in North America). Rhonda holds a trainer certification from Crucial Learning ™. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, motorcycling, and traveling. Some of her favorite things to do include attending concerts and college football games (her daughters are rival alumni from the University of Montana and Montana State University) as well as decorating and cooking during holidays and hosting dinner parties with friends and family. |
DeDe Barker

Since 1995, DeDe has spent the last 15 years specializing in Human Resources and Recruiting, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field. She holds an Advanced Certification in Employment Law from the prestigious Institute for Applied Management and Law, ensuring she remains at the forefront of HR best practices and legal compliance.
DeDe is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is a certified DISC trainer, specializing in personality and behavior assessments to help foster effective team dynamics and leadership development. Her passion for supporting women in the mining industry is evident through her role as a National Representative for the Women In Mining (WIM) Nevada Chapter, where she also contributes her time and expertise as a volunteer on the National Conference Committee. In addition, DeDe plays a vital role in the Nevada Mining Association, participating in the HR Committee, Suppliers Committee, and Workforce Development Committee, where she helps shape policies and initiatives to advance the industry. She is also deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of mining professionals, providing invaluable support to students at the University of Nevada, Reno's Mackay School of Mines. When she’s not making an impact in the mining community, DeDe enjoys quality time with her family and finds adventure riding through the sand dunes. |
Mikeala Basso

Mikeala brings over four years of experience in mining recruitment, complemented by a deep connection to the industry through her family background in mining. With a strong foundation in relationship-driven roles, she excels at building meaningful connections, and providing a seamless recruitment experience. She also helps lead the company’s social media efforts, creating engaging content to enhance visibility and branding.
Before transitioning into recruiting, Mikeala spent over 13 years in the service industry, where she honed her communication skills and ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Recruited by P&C in 2021 for her outgoing personality and rapport-building talent, Mikeala is passionate about making a positive impact on people’s careers and ensuring the right fit for long-term success. Outside of work, Mikeala is actively involved in a nonprofit organization that is close to her heart. A passionate animal lover and avid traveler, she enjoys live music, exploring coastal towns, and spending quality time with family and friends. |
Emily Hagenah

Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry and brings over 13 years of specialized recruiting experience within the mining industry. She is certified in Advanced Employment Law through the Institute for Applied Management and Law, demonstrating her commitment to ethical and effective employment practices.
As an active member of Women in Mining Idaho, Emily chairs the education committee, where she passionately promotes the benefits of responsible mining to students and encourages pathways to higher education in the field. She also volunteers with her local 4H community, supporting STEM initiatives that empower youth. Emily’s family has a long history in mining within the Silver Valley of Idaho, and she enjoys exploring the area with her family. |

Nicole has a successful background as recruiter within the e-commerce, mining, healthcare and construction sectors. Before joining the Talent Acquisition field, Nicole served as an EMT in the Las Vegas Valley. Nicole is focused on serving client employers and candidates with her collaborative approach on bridging the gap between exceptional talent and organizations, fostering meaningful connections, and helping to successfully connect people with their next career opportunity.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration with a Minor in Political Science, complemented by a Master of Legal Studies degree in Indigenous Peoples Law. With over two decades of experience in the mining industry and a decade specializing in Land Use Planning consulting, Pamela has honed her expertise in these fields.
Her career has seen her in pivotal leadership positions within the mining industry, mining trade associations, and the consulting sector. Her extensive tenure and multifaceted roles have shaped her into a respected authority in these domains. Beyond her professional pursuits, Pamela treasures family time. She is a proud mother of two grown sons and shares her life in Texas with her husband. Outside of work, she indulges in various interests, including golfing, traveling, wine tasting, and cherishing moments with her two beloved dogs. |
